HONG KONG – Sustainability accelerator GoBlu International is making its chemical management app BHive free to download for a three-month trial period, in a gesture of good will at a time when many in the industry have faced a huge financial setback.
“While COVID-19 has caused major disruptions to the fashion and textile industry, we believe that sustainability efforts should not be forgotten,” managing director, Lars Doemer, has said. “Our ambition is for the industry to continue their work towards the elimination of hazardous chemicals and protection of rivers, oceans and habitats, now that the industry resumes operations after the lockdown.”
